First Trip to the Children's Museum!

Thursday we met our friends Amy and Sam at the Jackson Children's Museum!  I have been wanting to go for a LONG time, but just hadn't made it.  It was so fun!  There is tons of stuff for the kids to explore.  Especially if your child is like mine and loves anything that turns and can be imagined as a steering wheel :)

Parker was in a pretty cranky mood, and there were at least 2 schools there.  Between the 2 it was a little crazy, but still fun.  Despite Parker's poor attitude, he still had fun!  Here are a few pictures from our trip...

This is the first thing we came to... A steering wheel ;)

He loved this.  He wanted to take the train with him though!

Wearing a hard hat like his daddy wears!

My sweet man.

Playing with Sam

Amy and Sam.  Another boy who loves steering wheels???

Poor Harrison.  His name was almost didn't fit in the picture!

Looking at himself in the mirror.

It always makes him smile :)

Loading the dishwasher.

Shopping for vegetables.

This may look like a cute picture, but it had horrible repercussions...

Yes, Harrison fell forward off the seat.  He got his first  real bo bo.  His mouth was bleeding.  It was terrible.  All mommy's fault :(

Fishing for catfish

It was a long day for this poor baby.

Finally a safe place for the boys to play!  I blocked off the door with the stroller so they could have it all to themselves :)

Finally back to his happy self after his big fall :)

Next time we go, we are definitely going to call ahead and make sure that there will not be a group there.  It would have been a little less stressful I think.  Overall,  it was a lot of fun though.  Parker actually took a nap afterwards!  For that reason alone it was worth it.  I am hoping to get a membership soon!
