Parker is FIVE!

My sweet boy is FIVE!

I can't believe it!  He is growing up so fast! I could not be more proud of him.  He is the sweetest, smartest, most thoughtful 5 year old I know.  SO much happened during his fourth year of life.  Most importantly, he asked Jesus to come into his heart.  He asked me a while back about Jesus living in your heart, but I thought there was no way he could comprehend it, so I blew it off.
On August 8, 2013, he asked me about again saying, "Mommy, I asked you a long time ago about asking Jesus to come into my heart."  Ummmm... ooops.  So when Britt came home, we sat down with him and did our best to explain the importance, meaning, etc.   So thankful for Godly parents to consult.  It's a hard thing explaining heaven and hell to a four year old.  After we talked about it, he decided to say a prayer and ask Jesus into his heart.  I could not hold back my tears.  What a precious thing it is to hear your child ask Jesus into his heart.
In other news, he has lost 6 teeth!  He lost the first one on April 30, and they have been falling out ever since.  He lost #6 right before he started 4k.  He told me this morning that another one was loose, but I haven't had a chance to check.
1st tooth

The 2nd tooth was pretty dramatic.  He swallowed it.

We took a walk outside and he calmed down.

We wrote a note to the tooth fairy so she would know what happened ;)

I think this is the 3rd tooth.

Tooth #4!

#5!

and #6!

He started 4k in August and he LOVES it!  He has made several little buddies.  His very best friend is Winn.  He talks about him all the time!

This is from his birthday party at school.  So cute :)

A few of Parker's favorite things are, BASEBALL, drawing pictures, and running.  Some times he will ask me if he can go outside and run.  He LOVES the Braves.  He pretends to be Freddie Freeman :)  We have watched SO MUCH baseball this year!  It's been fun to watch Parker develop a love for the game, and to have something to do with Britt, but I am SO glad baseball season is over!  Since the Braves didn't make it to the world series, he cheered for the Red Sox to win.  Except for the day that Shane Victorino was hurt and couldn't play, he decided he wanted to Cardinals to win.  This also came the day after the Red Sox lost...  Fair weather fan in the making??? He gets it from his daddy :)

Here are some pictures from his actual birthday, and his party.  My baby is growing up so fast!  I am so proud of him!
