San Fran Day 1!

We had a great time in San Francisco!  I am so proud of Britt for EARNING this trip for us.  He worked VERY hard all year, and it paid off!  Also, a big thank you to my parents for keeping all three kids while we were gone!

We left April 8, but let's start with the day before.  Britt and I spent several hours shopping for clothes and shoes to wear!  Neither of us had packed a single thing!  It was a late night... We left the house around 6:45 for the airport.

After some sitting, waiting, and some extremely rude and lazy airport restaurant workers, our plane took off and we were San Fran bound!
Our first plane was EXTREMELY small.  I was freaking out for a bit.  We made it safely to San Francisco though!  We had a slight hiccup when we arrived.  Britt's luggage got pushed back a plane or two.  Thankfully it arrived later that evening.

We stayed at the Fairmont.  It was a beautiful hotel!

Our view.
We checked in and got my bags settled in the room, and headed down(and I do mean DOWN) to Fisherman's Warf.  The hills were serious!  I was wearing boots with NO traction.  I probably looked like a granny creeping down the hills :)

I loved just walking around and seeing the different architecture and people.  The people are definitely different in California! ;)  We walked along the bay, did a little shopping at Ghirardelli, and ate dinner at a restaurant called Fog Harbor.

My first impression of San Francisco was not the best.  I couldn't believe the number of homeless people we passed.  Especially on the bus ride to the hotel.  It is a beautiful city though.  I loved being able to explore and see new things!
Ghirardelli Factory!

Making the good stuff!

Caroline is 4 months!

Time is flying at the Thomas house!  Our sweet baby Caroline is growing like a weed!

Her stats from her check up:
Weight- 14lbs 9oz (84%)
Height- 25 1/4 inches (76ish%)
Head- 40 1/4 cm (30ish%)

She is a tall, slightly plump, little girl, and that's just the way we like her! :)

I just bumped her formula up to 7oz. Every three hours. Sometimes she will go four, but it's rare!  She started cereal Wednesday. She's not a fan so far.

Big Girl!

Caroline is trying her very hardest to roll over.  That sill arm and shoulder just keep getting in the way.  I am in no rush for this milestone to happen.  It's funny, with Parker, we waited impatiently for each milestone.  With Harry, we didn't push quite as much.  By the time you reach baby number three, you just want each stage to last a little longer!  It flies by way too fast!

Caroline loves her playmat!  She talks, and rolls, and grabs her toys.

I love to watch her play!  I am just trying to soak in every baby moment!

She also loves her brothers!  She will almost always smile when she sees them!  They also love her. Parker loves to help out, and make her smile.

Harry loves her too, he is just busy doing other things.  ;)

A few of Caroline's other accomplishments:
  • she is sleeping through the night.  This week I haven't even had to put her paci back in.  Except for this morning... It's progress though!
  • She is wearing 3-6 month clothing.  Closing in on 6 month only.
  • She is still on the eat, play, sleep schedule.  Working great!
  • She loooves her toes!  She will grab her toes and roll back and forth :)

Happy 4 months sweet baby girl!
