Our Day

One day I am going to want to look back and see how we spent our days when the kids were little.  Here are the highlights from today :)

Harrison was still asleep, so Parker and I took advantage and had a little playtime in his room.
Love this boy

These were the toys assigned to me :)
Make his diesel sound :)

MUST watch the school bus back up!

Just as we finished setting the farm up, we heard this sweet boy talking...

He's ready to play!
Since it was raining outside we decided to have a movie day!  I popped Parker some popcorn and turned on Cars.  Harrison watched for a few seconds :)

I turned around from making cookies with Park, and this is what I saw...
Obviously Harrison was not finished eating his supper.  I am not sure how he got his bowl off the table.

While Harrison was making a mess, Parker and I were making our own mess.  Sugar cookies!
Parker dumped the extra flour on top of one of the cookies...

Big helper!

He scraped his knee, so he could't put his pants back on ;)

He really did a good job!

By the time Park and I finished the cookies, Harrison managed to get cheeseburger hamburger helper everywhere!

Love him

We had a pretty eventful day!  I am so thankful I get to spend my days with these boys!

The sneeze

Harrison thinks it is the funniest thing to fake sneeze.  He started doing this all on his own.  Sometimes he will just start "sneezing" for no reason.  It is the funniest thing!

A Few Videos

A few videos from Friday.  Parker can be a crazy driver, but Harrison loves riding with him!  He is buckled in, and I do not leave them unattended :)

Parker says and Harrison does

My boys cannot be more different.  Harrison is fearless.  There is nothing he will not try.  He eats turnips, pineapple, reeses pieces(oops), french fries, hamburgers, etc.  He is also a little dare devil.  He gets into everything!  He can pull the socket covers out of the sockets, he can climb onto the dish washer door when it is down, and as of yesterday morning, he can do this...

Yes, he climbed our of his highchair onto my bed.  I had him in the highchair taking his bottle, but as soon as I left the room, Parker says, "MAMA!  Harrison is on the bed!"  Oh my.  I can't leave that boy for a second.

As far as Parker goes, he has never been the adventurous type.  He keeps me on my toes in a different way.  I am sure if you are friends with me on facebook, you know what I am talking about.  His mouth!  He has always been a talker.  He really does say the darndest things.  Today he told me that I couldn't sing the song that was on the radio because it was a boy singing.  Therefore, it was only to be sung by a boy.  Of course, Harrison can't talk yet, so I guess we will have to wait and see if he takes after his brother in that aspect...

As different as they are, I love them both.  They both keep me on my toes and laughing!

Parker asked me to take his picture with the sheep.  Excuse the pj's and bed head :)

Changes

Lots of changes are in store for the Thomas household!  As of Jan. 3, Britt started his new job with Farm Bureau!  So proud of my hubby!  He is loving it.  His exact words today were, "I think I have found what I am supposed to be doing."  It is such a blessing for him to enjoy his work.

Click here to see his contact information on the Farm Bureau website.  Give him a call! :)

With a new job, comes many changes.  Farm Bureau requires that you live in the county you work in.  Hinds county here we come!  We are hoping to put our house on the market as soon as the new carpet goes in.  Please say a prayer that our house will sell quickly.  I am not looking forward to keeping the house "show ready" with 2 little boys running/crawling around!

So, I have lots on my to-do list for 2012!
  • Sell house
  • Find new house to buy/rent
  • Plan Harrison's FIRST BIRTHDAY!
  • Celebrate Harrison's FIRST BIRTHDAY!
  • Celebrate mine and Britt's 5th anniversary!  We WILL be going somewhere awesome.  Not sure where yet, but it is going to awesome :)  Suggestions are welcome!
Hopefully I will have time to blog about all of the exciting things to come!  Time for this old lady to get ready for bed!  I will leave you a picture of our sweet little house.  You know you want to buy it!!! :)
