Reunited!!!

We were reunited with our friends Lindsay, Joseph, and Anna Paige Saturday.  We have missed them SO much since they moved.  We met them at Chick-fil-a in Meridian for lunch.  If you have never been to Meridian, keep it that way.  No offense to the people who live there, but it is a terrible place to drive in!  I took one wrong turn and had to go around the world to get to my destination.  CRAZY roads!

Anyway, we ran over to their hotel to take a few picture because CFA was so crazy!  I just posted all of the pics so you can get a feel for how the "photo shoot" went. :)

This is my absolute favorite.  Best friends.
This one too ;)

Future husband and wife??? ;)

I am so glad we were able get together with our friends!  We miss y'all so much.  Even though it's long distance now, I am so thankful for our friendship!

Parker is FOUR!

Parker is now closing in on 4 1/2!  I just haven't had the motivation to blog.  I know I will regret down the road, so I am going to TRY and get caught up!

My sweet boy is four.  This year, I didn't feel as much sadness as I have during the past 3 birthdays.  I am usually so sad to see my baby another year older.  This year, I was just so proud of him.  He is the smartest, funniest, sweetest four year old I know!  I am so thankful to have him in our family.  He has been such a blessing.  We definitely have our days, but who doesn't???

Parker, you started 3k this year.  You love it!  Your favorite day is play day.  You get to eat lunch at school and "Play in the dirt."  You usually come filthy, and it makes me laugh.  You love to play.  School work, not so much.  You once told me that you couldn't finish your lunch because you were running out of time to play.  :)  Food is definitely not a priority in your life.  You are still SUPER picky.  You eat poptarts for breakfast everyday unless we are out. If we are out, you will eat oatmeal, or occasionally, eggs.  You love butter.  If I would let you, you would eat it with a spoon.  I have cought you sneaking some country crock on several occasions. ;)  You stopped drinking milk at some point this year.  Not sure what that was about...

You are picky in pretty much every aspect of your life.  You still HATE wearing anything with buttons.  You throw a fit almost every Sunday.  It's not fun, but I will not give in! :)

Your love for diesel trucks is still going strong.  Peterbilts are still your favorite.  You had a very specific Christmas list this year.  A Peterbilt  with a forklift, a John Deere tractor with a hay baler, a John Deere tractor with a wagon, Chevrolet truck with a trailer and a gator, and a new Walmart truck.  Like I said, very specific. :)

You say the FUNNIEST things.  I am hoping to write them all down one day.  There are so many, it will probably take a full day!  You definitely keep us laughing.

You love your brother.  You try to make him do whatever you want him to,  but he is starting to get a mind of his own.  You are teaching him everything you know about diesel trucks.  Occasionally y'all play together.  To listen and watch the two of you play together just melts my heart.

Harrison 18 Months

My, my, my... Harrison is now 20 months.  Ooops!  I just couldn't find the time or motivation to update the blog.  So terrible right? Here is Harrison's 18-20 month update ;)

Harrison.  my how you are growing up!  You are continuing to bring so much joy and excitement to our lives.  I am so thankful to be your mommy.

At 18-20 months you are:
  • Talking up a storm!  Your first phrase was, "I don't want to." and "I don't want it."  Yesterday,, as we were walking to the car, I stopped for something and you turned around and said, "You coming?" Ha!  it cracked me up!  I think you are learning most of it from your big brother!
  • You used to be a good eater, but your appetite is going downhill fast!  You are just too busy to stop and eat.  We are working on it though. :)
  • You are not too fond of milk, but you will drink it sometimes.  I have been putting carnation instant breakfast in it to help put some meat on your bones :)
  • You LOVE juice.  I have to limit your juice intake, or i will be changing stinky diapers avery few hours!
  • You are getting a little more stable on your feet, but you are still pretty clumsy!  You fall all the time.  Mostly because you aren't looking where you are walking. :)
  • You LOVE, I repeat, LOVE your big brother.  You want to do everything your brother does.  You also want to eat or drink everything that your brother eats and drinks.
  • You "name" the truck as they pass on the road.  You can say, Peterbilt and Volvo, although you can't tell which is which.  You can point out a dump truck and a tractor.
  • You are BUSY BUSY BUSY!  You are constantly getting into things and making messes.  Much the opposite of your big brother.  Like I said, you keep life exciting these days!
  • You take 1 afternoon nap a day.
  • You started MDO in September and you love it.  When I ask you if you want to go to school, you say, "YEAH!" We are working on the m'ams and sirs. :)
  • You are cutting your 2 year molars.  Everything goes in the mouth :)
  • You have the motor sound down.  You will sit and push trucks and make your motor sounds just like bubba does.  It is the cutest thing!
  • You are fearless!  You will climb anything you can find to climb.  You love to slide.  Doesn't matter what size the slide!  You have given me a mild heart attack on several different occasions!
  • When I tell you I love you, you will say, "I la you mommy."  Melts my heart every time.
  • You are not shy at all. You wave and say hey or bye to most everyone we pass.
  • For the record, going into fall/winter, you are in 2T clothing.  Although, you can wear 18-24 month pants.  I have a feeling all of your clothes will be too short before winter is over.  Tall boy!  You are wearing a size 7 or 7 1/2 shoe.

Pajamas

Parker no longer wears "j's." He just decided one day, that he was a big boy and would start sleeping in his "drawers." Every time I fold clothes I start to separate the boys pajamas, then I realize they are all Harrison's. I must admit, it's nice not having to fold 2 sets of pajamas!

Disney Day 5!

Day 5 at Disney, we went to MAGIC KINGDOM!  I think we were all most excited about Magic Kingdom.  We saved the best for last :)

On the bus, headed for Magic Kingdom!

The bus we rode in to Magic Kingdom was like a charter bus.  Parker LOVED it.  He also loved our bus driver George.  He was very upset when George did not pick us up from Magic Kingdom.

We made it!!!

Walking into Magic Kingdom.

Britt was whistling :)

My boys.

Harry was in such a funny mood when we first got there.  I think he was just hot!

We stopped to watch these people perform

First "ride"

I think this was called the Mad Hatter ride

Sweet boy.  He was so excited.
Parker and I rode on the race car ride.  He got to "drive".  He was very good at steering, so we kept running into the track, and it would jerk the steering wheel.  Parker thought i was doing it and kept telling me to stop.  It was pretty funny.

Driving!

DUMBO!

We rode Dumbo twice.  The first time we went straight through to the ride.  The second time we stopped at the indoor play area to play for a few minutes and cool off.

After Dumbo, Parker, Mrs. Karen, and I rode a little roller coaster.  Parker was pretty excited.  He did great while we were on the ride.  He never cried or anything, but he was not too happy when it was over.  It was a pretty rough ride.  I think it scared him a little bit.

Part of the roller coaster.

Roller coaster

It's a Small World

I don't remember what the name of this ride was.  It looks like a roller coaster, but it goes slow and there are no hills.

Love those baby blues

He was so hot and tired :)

Baby feet :)

The train was one of Parker's favorite things to do.

Swiss Family Robinson Tree House

That's it for pictures!  We were so hot and tired by the end of the day.  No one felt like taking a picture. For memories sake, we ate lunch at the restaurant the overlooked the small world ride.  We got there just in time.  We didn't have to wait to order and we were able to sit by the window and watch the ride. Over all, we didn't wait in many lines.  We got fast passes for the buzz lightyear ride and Space mountain.  Britt and I road the Pirate's of the Caribbean ride.  It would have been to scary for the boys.  We also rode the magic carpet ride.  It broke right before we got on, but the got it fixed and we rode it anyway!  Mrs. Karen and I rode Space Mountain.  We were walking back to the boys and someone gave us there fast passes.  Mr. John and Britt refused to go, so Mrs. Karen and I rode again!  We were so tired by the time we got back to the hotel we ordered in and watched the Olypmics.  A perfect end to a fun day!

The next day we packed up and headed north.  We drove down 30-A on our way in to Destin so Britt and I could see where we would be staying for our anniversary trip.  The plan was to spend the next morning at the beach and then head home.  Well, it was raining when we pulled into Destin and raining when we woke up the next morning.  We did get to eat at Joe's Crab Shack.  The boys had a blast there!

Whew.  I didn't think I would ever finish the Disney trip update!  Now onto Harry's 18 month update... It's only 1 month late :)
