Rain!

We FINALLY got a good rain!

Parker thought it was a little loud beating down on the tin roof over our patio :)

Making good use of his new rain boots!

He loves to play in the rain!

The Fair!

We took Parker on his first trip to the fair last night! We had so much fun! Our first stop was the petting zoo. I was a little surprised that Parker was not afraid to pet the animals. He loved the goats and the zebra the most. The tent was pretty crowded, so we didn't stay long. Our next stop was my favorite. FOOD! I shared a pizza with Parker and Britt and my brother David ate at Pen's. You cannot go to the fair without getting a funnel cake, so we all shared a funnel cake as well. Parker would have eaten the whole thing if I had let him! He kept calling it a donut :) After we ate, we walked to the opposite end of the fair grounds so our food could settle ;) Britt is not to fond of fair rides, and I am 20 weeks pregnant, so the only ride we took Parker on was the carousel. While we were on the ride, I asked him if he was having fun and he said no. Although, when it was time to get off, he started to pitch a little fit. After the carousel ride it was closing in on 9 o'clock so we headed for the car. Parker, being the extreme boy that he is, got more excited about seeing big trucks and golf carts on our way to the car more than he did anything else! We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back next year as a family of FOUR!
