Anniversary

Britt and I celebrated our anniversary a little early this year. Last weekend we spent a few nights in Sandestin! It was wonderful! I was a little worried that is was going to rain the whole time, but the only day we had rain was the day we drove in.

We arrived on Friday night, and came home Monday night. This was our first time to leave Harrison by himself! I was SO ready for a break, I wasn't worried about it too much :) Parker stayed with my parents and Harrison stayed with Britt's parents. At this point, we figured both boys was a little too much to put on either parent at one time! Anyway, the first day we picked up a few groceries we forgot and then went shopping! Britt was SO sweet and patient while shopping. We had a great time!

Sunday, we spent the ENTIRE day at the beach. It was wonderful! We started out using the chairs and umbrella from the owner of our condo, but quickly decided it would be MUCH easier and enjoyable to just rent chairs and an umbrella from the resort. Best money spent the whole trip! I don't think we will ever bring our own chairs and umbrella again! Britt stayed under the umbrella almost the whole day, while I layed out in the sun! The sun does not agree with britt's pale skin :) The water was FREEZING, but we got in a few times to cool off. We ate out at Baytowne Wharf that night. Not the best night we have ever had. It was too cold to eat outside, and the restaurant we ended up choosing was loud and the food was not very good. It was nice to be able to take our time and have an adult conversation though :)

Monday, we woke up and packed all our stuff. We took our time going home though. We stopped at the Destin Commons to do a little last minute shopping. We ended up eating at Johnny Rockets. It was so good! Much better than the place we ate the night before. We also made a stop at Spanish Fort, and gulfport before heading to Hattiesburg to pick up Parker.

The first thing Parker said to me was, "No, I don't want to go home! I want to stay at Gram and Gramps house!" So nice to see he missed us ;) I told him we had to go pick up his brother, and he said, "what brother?" Sorry Harrison, I promise he really does love you! We stopped in Brookhaven to pick up Harrison, and finally made it home arounf 11:30pm.

We had such a great time. I can't wait to take the boys!
