Parkerism

Parker: dang!
Me: Parker, don't say dang. It's not nice.
Parker: You say it.
Me: I know. Mommy doesn't need to say that.
Parker: Well, if you say it, then somebody else is going to say it and that's not nice.

Oh my. What am I going to do with this boy???

15 Months

Harrison is 15 months!  Well, almost 16 now :)  We have been crazy busy.  I keep wondering if life is ever going to slow down!

Harrison,  at 15 months, you weighed 22lbs(26%), you were about 33 inches tall(95%), and your head circumference was in the 46th percentile.  You are tall and thin.  You eat and eat and eat.  You are a much better eater than your brother.  You would never know it though.  In my opinion, you are thin for several reasons.  You NEVER stop moving!  If you are awake, you are walking/running/falling somewhere.  You are also very independent and stubborn.  You INSIST on feeding yourself.  Therefore, only about half of the food I give you makes it to your mouth.  You gotta learn somehow right? :)  Here is an example of you feeding yourself...

Like I said earlier, you are a very active little boy.  You are either eating, sleeping, or moving.  You are into everything!  You especially love the plunger, toilet brushes and cleaning brushes.  No matter how many time I put them away or shut the bathroom door, you somehow manage to find them!  You still think your "Bubba" is the bees knees :)  Although, y'all seem to fight more than you get along.  You like to take your brother's toys and vice versa.  You also love to play outside.

I took you and Parker swimming a few weekends ago, and you HATED it!  You screamed the whole time you were in the water.  I chased you around the whole time scared you were going to fall in the water!  You did like to sit by the ladder and put your feet in.  That also cause me to have frequent panic attacks.  I think we will stick to the splash pad and kiddie pool for now!

You are talking more and more.  I probably can't remember everything you can say, but here are the words that I do remember.  Mama, daddy, bubba, ball, juice, outside, NO, hey, and bye bye.  I am sure there are a few more.  You try to say princess(aunt re's dog) and abbie.

You have a major temper!  If you don't get what you want, you throw a FIT!  You love to say the word NO.  I don't know how you can be so bad and so cute at the same time.  Sometimes it is vary hard for me to get on to you.  You definitely know what you are doing too!

At 15 months, you are keeping me very busy!  I love watching you grow and learn new things.  You are growing up so fast!  I am so thankful to be your mommy :)

Mother's Day

I had the best Mother's Day ever this year!  I started off with a visit to Hattiesburg for My sister Ann Marie's graduation from JCJC.  She's headed to Ole Miss in the fall.  I am trying not to hold it against her ;)

Silly pictures

Friday night we got a special visit from Gramps!  These boys love their Gramps!
Saturday, we drove to Brookhaven for dinner with Britt's family.  We left early so the girls could go to dirt cheap.  I posted my finds in the previous post!  Love me some DC! :)  I will have to post the photos later.  I haven't downloaded them from my email yet...

Sunday, I woke up at a glorious 8:45a.m.!  My boys were outside eating doughnuts.  They were outside so that they wouldn't wake me up.  So sweet :)  They gave me this card...

Best card  ever!  On the reverse side, it said, "Your new iPhone!"  Love my boys.  They are so good to me. :)  After church, we ate at Lenny's and then spent the rest of the afternoon looking for rugs for the kitchen and "shopping for a car".  Britt likes to dream :)

All in all, a wonderful Mother's Day!  I am so blessed!

A Parker Funny

We were in Hattiesburg Friday, for my sister, Ann Marie's graduation. After the graduation, all the girls plus harrison were outside taking pictures. We left Parker inside to watch a movie.

Parker loves to answer the house phone when it rings. Apparently it rang a few times while we were outside. My dad said he called and Parker answered the phone. Parker said, "I'll have to call you back because I am watching Tom and Jerry." ha! My dad said he called 3-4 more times. The last time Parker answered and said, "Gramps, why do you keep calling me?". HA!!! I love the children are so honest and unfiltered. It can be embarrassing sometimes, but most of the time it is just plain funny!

Catching Up

Wow. Time sure does fly! I have been meaning to update the blog, but it just hasn't happened. Lots has happened in 1 month!

For starters, Britt won a trip to Disney world with work! We are SO excited! We will leave at the end of July. I can't wait to see parker's face when we get there!

Britt just got back from a "work" trip at the beach. We were going non stop while he was gone. My best friend danielle came for a visit. She is preggo with twins and won't be able to travel for much longer! We had a blast.

I took spring pictures at Funtime preschool, so I am finishing up those orders hopefully this week along with several regular sessions. I Have been super busy with my photography lately. It's been lots of fun!

I have finally joined the iPhone club. My amazing husband bought me one for mother's day :). It is awesome! I am typing this blog post on it :). All my pictures are still in my blackberry. All 2000+ of them. Yes, I take LOTS of pictures ;)

Here is my first "iPhone picture dump".
My one and only picture with  my boys on mother's day :)  So very typical.

I sent this picture to everyone in my family and said, "Happy Mother's Day to me!"  HA if only it were true! ;)
"Take my picture in front of Daddy's truck!"
Dirt Cheap finds.  Spent around $50-$60 total.  Yes, that is a Leapster2 and  vtech innotab!
I couldn't find the boys when I went outside.  This is were they were.  Harry got from the back seat all the way to the front all by himself!

Best Friends

These two are best friends.  They have only known each other for a few months, but they became fast friends the minute they met!  They love telling people they are best friends.  It is the sweetest thing.  Apparently, they both told a complete stranger at the park that they were best friends.  :)  Every time we get together, they run up to each other screaming each others name.  It is so funny.  I hope and pray that their sweet little friendship continues to grow and that they stay best friends forever!  We have some stories to tell at their weddings!  :)

Easter 2012

It is amazing what happens in a year.  It is so hard to believe this photo was taken just last year!

My babies are growing up so fast!

We had a great Easter.  I had to help set up for the Easter brunch at church, so Britt and Parker went to church without me :(   As Easter approached, I tried to explain to Parker why we celebrate Easter.  He would usually be able to repeat it back to me if I asked.  Sunday morning, as I was getting ready for church, I asked him why we celebrated Easter.  He quickly replied, "Because Christmas is over!"  Ha!  Mind you, he had just opened his Easter basket, so I guess Christmas was on his mind. :)

After the church brunch, we headed home to pick up a few things and then drove to Raymond to eat lunch with Britt's extended family.  After we ate, we had an Easter egg hunt for, Madye, Parker, Harrison, and Brayden.  Here they are ready to find their eggs!

Baby Brayden was inside taking his bottle.  He joined in he fun later. :)  Here are a few more pics from the kids Easter egg hunt.

After they find all their eggs, they trade them in for fun prizes.  After the kids hunt is finished, the big kids have an egg hunt.  Our eggs had slips of paper in them.  Each color of paper was worth a certain amount of money.  Kimberly has won 2 years in a row!  I am bringing my A game next year!  :)  I didn't get any pictures from the big kid hunt.  I was too busy trying to find eggs!  I was the LAST one, and that was only because Britt gave me one of his...  Anyway, we were worn slap out by the time we headed home.  I am so thankful for my family and being able to celebrate our Lord rising from the dead!  What a reason to celebrate!
