Rain!

We FINALLY got a good rain!

Parker thought it was a little loud beating down on the tin roof over our patio :)

Making good use of his new rain boots!

He loves to play in the rain!

The Fair!

We took Parker on his first trip to the fair last night! We had so much fun! Our first stop was the petting zoo. I was a little surprised that Parker was not afraid to pet the animals. He loved the goats and the zebra the most. The tent was pretty crowded, so we didn't stay long. Our next stop was my favorite. FOOD! I shared a pizza with Parker and Britt and my brother David ate at Pen's. You cannot go to the fair without getting a funnel cake, so we all shared a funnel cake as well. Parker would have eaten the whole thing if I had let him! He kept calling it a donut :) After we ate, we walked to the opposite end of the fair grounds so our food could settle ;) Britt is not to fond of fair rides, and I am 20 weeks pregnant, so the only ride we took Parker on was the carousel. While we were on the ride, I asked him if he was having fun and he said no. Although, when it was time to get off, he started to pitch a little fit. After the carousel ride it was closing in on 9 o'clock so we headed for the car. Parker, being the extreme boy that he is, got more excited about seeing big trucks and golf carts on our way to the car more than he did anything else! We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back next year as a family of FOUR!

New Addition

Well, A LOT has happened since my last post! We found out today that we are expecting our second baby boy! We are so excited! Parker was at my in laws, so we told him over the phone. When we told him he was getting a baby brother he said, "YAAAAY!!!". It was so sweet! I really don't think he completely understands what is going on, but it was sweet none the less! I am due March 3rd, but I have a feeling he might come a few days early :) I also thought that it was a girl, so my intuition is not the best... only time will tell!

In other news, Parker turned 2 this month! I cannot believe my little man is 2. It goes by so fast! I wish I could hit pause! He had a great birthday party. It was a small family party, but in our tiny house it seemed like we had 100 hundred people! Parker's favorite part of the whole party was letting the balloons go up to the ceiling, and eating his Eagle cake! He LOVED that cake :) He also loves those Eagles! I have a feeling that will not be the only Eagle birthday party I throw!

Well, I guess that is pretty much it right now. Hopefully I will post again before the year is over :) I will leave you with a picture of the big brother :)

What's New

It seems as though I am not a very good blogger... Things have been so crazy over the past year. The best and most exciting thing being that I am now a stay-at-home mom! I have been hoping and praying for this to happen since before Parker was even born! It is so much fun! It can get tiring at times, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Parker will be TWO in September. I seriously don't know where the time has gone. My baby is not a baby anymore :( Since it has been almost a year since my last post, I think I will just post a few pictures from the past months instead of writing about it. Enjoy! (that is, if anyone actually reads this...). I have know idea how to put pictures on here in order, so here is a collage in no particular order!
